Spotted: Wyndham Clark testing Scotty Cameron putter at Valspar Championship
Wyndham Clark has been spotted testing a Scotty Cameron blade putter at this week’s Valspar Championship, as the 2023 U.S. Open champ continues to search for a flatstick to take the long-term spot in his bag.
Most recently, Clark was gaming an off the rack Bettinardi Antidote SB1 at the Players Championship, where he told GolfWRX:
“I hadn’t been putting my best, so I wanted to try some different putters, and I kind of narrowed it down to two or three, and I went to go put lead tape on one of them at the pro shop at Whisper Rock. As I was kind of waiting there and looking, they had this putter and I said, ‘You know, can I try this?’
I went out and it beat all the other putters that I was working with, and I said, ‘Alright, we’re going with it.’”
A week on from the event where Clark lost almost 2 strokes to the field on the greens, the 32-year-old has been spotted testing a new Scotty Cameron at Copperhead:

Neal Shipley, AKA, the “Big Fridge’s,” custom stamping
Neal Shipley was the first to admit that he enjoyed his food while in college. But since his days at Ohio State, he’s slimmed down and earned a PGA Tour Card.
That hasn’t stopped him from having fun with his wedge stampings, though it’s led to some misunderstandings.
On the 54 (degree), we have ‘Big Fudge,'” Shipley told GolfWRX. “It was supposed to be ‘Big Fridge,’ so this happened a little while ago. ‘Big Fridge’ was a nickname between my college teammates and I, with ‘fridge’ meaning stomach, a big stomach.

“We told the Ping guys to put … ‘Big Fridge’ on it, and I think maybe some bad cell service or something, and they thought I said ‘fudge,’ so they put fudge on it.”
On Shipley’s 50-degree he also continues the food theme, this time with his go-to order at the “Golden Arches,” and his stamping “DONS 7.”
“The number 7 meal, the two cheeseburger meal, that was my McDonald’s order, back when I would have McDonald’s frequently,” Shipley shared.
