Coolest thing for sale in the GolfWRX Classifieds (2/16/22): Restored Ping ISI Iron set

Currently, in our GolfWRX buy/sell/trade (BST) forum, there is a listing for a Restored Ping ISI Iron set.
From the seller (@deejaid): “Here is a brand new set of Ping ISI irons, resto-modded to perform as good as any modern club.
This set started as standard set of stainless steel Ping ISI irons. The original JZ shafts were removed and the heads were shipped off to Ping where the lofts and lies were checked for a Silver lie code and then refinished with their Guyson finish which was not available when these clubs were new.
The heads were then build with KBS TGI 95 graphite shafts. This is a premium shaft which sell for $80 a piece and play between a regular and stiff. Clubs were built to 1/2” over standard length, silver lie code and fitted with oversized Winn Dri Tec LT (less taper) grips.
I took these to the range once and hit them off mats, they have never even seen a blade of grass. I thought I’d relive my youth a bit with these but just decided to stick with one set of irons this year and my KZG’s are staying in the bag. These are ready for their new owner to put them in play.
The set is 3-PW, SW, SW3, all shafted with brand new KBS TGI 95 graphite shafts. The LW head is included but not shafted. If you love the Ping ISI you will not find a better looking or playing set anywhere. $750 plus shipping.”

Neal Shipley was the first to admit that he enjoyed his food while in college. But since his days at Ohio State, he’s slimmed down and earned a PGA Tour Card.
That hasn’t stopped him from having fun with his wedge stampings, though it’s led to some misunderstandings.
On the 54 (degree), we have ‘Big Fudge,'” Shipley told GolfWRX. “It was supposed to be ‘Big Fridge,’ so this happened a little while ago. ‘Big Fridge’ was a nickname between my college teammates and I, with ‘fridge’ meaning stomach, a big stomach.
“We told the Ping guys to put … ‘Big Fridge’ on it, and I think maybe some bad cell service or something, and they thought I said ‘fudge,’ so they put fudge on it.”
On Shipley’s 50-degree he also continues the food theme, this time with his go-to order at the “Golden Arches,” and his stamping “DONS 7.”
“The number 7 meal, the two cheeseburger meal, that was my McDonald’s order, back when I would have McDonald’s frequently,” Shipley shared.
