TaylorMade announces limited-edition Qi35 Ryder Cup drivers
With the 2025 Ryder Cup right around the corner, limited-edition products are starting to surface. TaylorMade has joined the conversation with gusto, announcing today its limited-edition Qi35 Ryder Cup drivers.
The Team USA driver sports a design dominated by deep blue and red hues, accented with crisp white details.
On the sole, a graphic of the United States is prominently displayed, while the club face is finished in a vibrant red with white score lines and the letters “USA” raised at the center. The accompanying Fujikura Air Speeder 50 shaft stands out with its white base, highlighted by red and blue graphics.
The headcover for Team USA is eye-catching, featuring a patriotic palette of red, white, and blue, an embroidered American flag, and shiny silver Qi35 and Metal T emblems.
For Team Europe, the driver’s look contrasts sharply, blending blue on the sole and face with gold accents on the crown and skirt.
A map of Europe appears on the sole, and the face is accented by silver and blue score lines against a royal blue backdrop. The Fujikura Air Speeder shaft for this version presents a blue base, tastefully accented with gold and white graphics.
Team Europe’s headcover carries on the color theme, with blue and gold as primary tones and complemented by silver Qi35 and Metal T logos for a distinctive finish.

Neal Shipley was the first to admit that he enjoyed his food while in college. But since his days at Ohio State, he’s slimmed down and earned a PGA Tour Card.
That hasn’t stopped him from having fun with his wedge stampings, though it’s led to some misunderstandings.
On the 54 (degree), we have ‘Big Fudge,'” Shipley told GolfWRX. “It was supposed to be ‘Big Fridge,’ so this happened a little while ago. ‘Big Fridge’ was a nickname between my college teammates and I, with ‘fridge’ meaning stomach, a big stomach.
“We told the Ping guys to put … ‘Big Fridge’ on it, and I think maybe some bad cell service or something, and they thought I said ‘fudge,’ so they put fudge on it.”
On Shipley’s 50-degree he also continues the food theme, this time with his go-to order at the “Golden Arches,” and his stamping “DONS 7.”
“The number 7 meal, the two cheeseburger meal, that was my McDonald’s order, back when I would have McDonald’s frequently,” Shipley shared.
