21 interesting photos from Tiger Woods’ PopStroke mini golf course in Arizona
Back in March 2023, Tiger Woods’ new PopStroke 36-hole mini golf course in Glendale, Arizona, opened for business.
The facility – which is located in Glendale’s Westgate Entertainment District – has two mini golf courses (Red and Black), made from synthetic turf, as well as a double-decker bar and restaurant, an outdoor game center, a pro shop filled with merchandise and putter rentals, an ice cream parlor, and a kids playground.
The PopStroke company is co-owned by Woods, and it was founded in 2018 as a technology-infused golf entertainment venture. So far, the company has open mini golf facilities in Florida (Fort Myers, Sarasota, Orlando, Tampa, and Port St. Lucie), Texas (Houston), and Arizona (Glendale). As per the company’s website, there are also four new courses coming in 2023 (Nashville, Scottsdale, Las Vegas, and Tuscaloosa) in addition to nine more locations coming in 2024.
“Tiger Woods has had the most significant impact in growing the game of golf around the world and his investment and partnership in PopStroke will undoubtedly introduce the game to a new and wider audience of participants,” said PopStroke founder Greg Bartoli.
Bartoli was right. The Woods connection hooked me in, and I recently visited the new PopStroke in Glendale to see what the experience was like for myself.
And I brought my camera along for the ride.
All of my photos can be found in our GolfWRX Forums here, but I’ll highlight my 21 most notable photos below as I take you on a tour of PopStroke in Glendale.

Neal Shipley, AKA, the “Big Fridge’s,” custom stamping
Neal Shipley was the first to admit that he enjoyed his food while in college. But since his days at Ohio State, he’s slimmed down and earned a PGA Tour Card.
That hasn’t stopped him from having fun with his wedge stampings, though it’s led to some misunderstandings.
On the 54 (degree), we have ‘Big Fudge,'” Shipley told GolfWRX. “It was supposed to be ‘Big Fridge,’ so this happened a little while ago. ‘Big Fridge’ was a nickname between my college teammates and I, with ‘fridge’ meaning stomach, a big stomach.

“We told the Ping guys to put … ‘Big Fridge’ on it, and I think maybe some bad cell service or something, and they thought I said ‘fudge,’ so they put fudge on it.”
On Shipley’s 50-degree he also continues the food theme, this time with his go-to order at the “Golden Arches,” and his stamping “DONS 7.”
“The number 7 meal, the two cheeseburger meal, that was my McDonald’s order, back when I would have McDonald’s frequently,” Shipley shared.

Great review. Was there with a group of 8 back in March and thought it was very well executed and a good 2.5 hours of fun. We live in Nashville, and one has been announced for 24 which will be well received.
