SuperStroke launches REVL line of grips
SuperStroke today has announced its new REVL line of grips, which the company says marks a bold new chapter in grip technology. These next-generation grips fuse SuperStroke’s tour-proven performance with design insights from Lamkin, the century-old grip brand SuperStroke acquired in 2024.
“With the launch of our new SuperStroke REVL grips, we believe we’ve taken a big step forward in golf grip technology,” said SuperStroke CEO Dean Dingman. “By combining top design, feel, durability, and performance, we’ve created something we’re proud to bring to golfers. When we acquired Lamkin, a brand with decades of innovation, we saw the chance to raise the bar. REVL is that vision in action, and we’re eager for golfers to experience it.”
Every grip in the REVL family is made with Genesis+, a premium rubber compound engineered to maintain tackiness, resist wear, and perform in any weather. Each model features the company’s proprietary Ultra-Tac “X” pattern, designed to boost traction and control. Grips are also UV- and ozone-resistant and remain pliable even in cold conditions.
A design note: Each REVL grip proudly displays the “Lamkin 100” badge, a nod to the century of engineering excellence behind the line.

Neal Shipley, AKA, the “Big Fridge’s,” custom stamping
Neal Shipley was the first to admit that he enjoyed his food while in college. But since his days at Ohio State, he’s slimmed down and earned a PGA Tour Card.
That hasn’t stopped him from having fun with his wedge stampings, though it’s led to some misunderstandings.
On the 54 (degree), we have ‘Big Fudge,'” Shipley told GolfWRX. “It was supposed to be ‘Big Fridge,’ so this happened a little while ago. ‘Big Fridge’ was a nickname between my college teammates and I, with ‘fridge’ meaning stomach, a big stomach.

“We told the Ping guys to put … ‘Big Fridge’ on it, and I think maybe some bad cell service or something, and they thought I said ‘fudge,’ so they put fudge on it.”
On Shipley’s 50-degree he also continues the food theme, this time with his go-to order at the “Golden Arches,” and his stamping “DONS 7.”
“The number 7 meal, the two cheeseburger meal, that was my McDonald’s order, back when I would have McDonald’s frequently,” Shipley shared.

Got the comfort midsize, so far I like the feel. The lamkin influence is very prevalent,a definite upgrade over the last super stroke swing grips I tried.
