But first, check out five new exhibitors for 2025 with items that have caught our eye on Day One.

IXI

Self Driving Golf Cart

From IXI:

“The first-ever self-driving golf trolley, iXi, revolutionizes golf with its AI-powered swing analysis, offering real-time insights to elevate your game. Effortlessly navigating the course while carrying your gear, it combines cutting-edge innovation with lightweight, foldable convenience. iXi is the ultimate companion for modern golfers.”

Liteyear Golf

Premium Golf Clubs For Kids

From Liteyear Golf:

“Liteyear Golf was started by a dad that wanted more time with his three boys and do things they loved, golf. Most ‘kids’ clubs are heavy, too big, and outdated. We set out on a journey to make it better.”

“Liteyear Golf clubs are unlike anything else on the market. We created the lightest clubs on the planet, using advanced aerospace-grade alloy to make golf easier, more fun, and frustration-free for little players.”

Swag Golf

Headcovers and, well, swag.

From Swag Golf:

“In 2025, we are continuing to bring our philosophy to the top properties around the world.

“It’s important to note that you may not like the price, MOQ’s, or our offerings, but we Don’t Give a Putt.”

XView Golf

AI Enabled Golf Swing Analysis Platform

From XView:

“A product of IdeasLab, combines multiple AI models to offer the most robust analysis of the golf swing, analyzing both the biomechanics of the golfer as well as the club head and shaft for a 360 degree assessment.

“Using only the iPhone, XView visualizes body, club and head shaft, swing velocity and path, multi-joint/body tracking, multi-player comparison and multiple AI coach tools for an easy-to-understand and actionable assessment of each and every golf swing.”

SlopeVision

New Green Slope Reading Technology

From SlopeVision:

“SlopeVision is a technology (patent pending) that turns a putter into a slope-reading tool. It shows specific points on a putter head that, when combined with a plumb-bob technique, allows the player to make an accurate estimation of the % slope.

“SlopeVision provides a product with instructions to modify an existing putter (must be done in conformance with Equipment Rules). The technology can also be designed into new putters.”

We share your golf passion. You can follow GolfWRX on Twitter @GolfWRX, Facebook and Instagram.

Neal Shipley, AKA, the “Big Fridge’s,” custom stamping

Published

on

Neal Shipley was the first to admit that he enjoyed his food while in college. But since his days at Ohio State, he’s slimmed down and earned a PGA Tour Card.

That hasn’t stopped him from having fun with his wedge stampings, though it’s led to some misunderstandings.

On the 54 (degree), we have ‘Big Fudge,'” Shipley told GolfWRX. “It was supposed to be ‘Big Fridge,’ so this happened a little while ago. ‘Big Fridge’ was a nickname between my college teammates and I, with ‘fridge’ meaning stomach, a big stomach.

“We told the Ping guys to put … ‘Big Fridge’ on it, and I think maybe some bad cell service or something, and they thought I said ‘fudge,’ so they put fudge on it.”

On Shipley’s 50-degree he also continues the food theme, this time with his go-to order at the “Golden Arches,” and his stamping “DONS 7.”

“The number 7 meal, the two cheeseburger meal, that was my McDonald’s order, back when I would have McDonald’s frequently,” Shipley shared.

Check out Shipley’s full what’s in the bag and the rest of his wedge stampings here on “Inside the Ropes” from Colonial.
