Bettinardi launches 2025 Queen B putters
Bettinardi has been milling high-quality, precision putters since 1993 and under their own name since 1998. The Queen B series straddles the line between function and art with beautifully milled shapes and luxurious finishes.
For 2025, the Queen B line is more focused on innovation as CEO Bob Bettinardi says.
“With the new center of gravity strategically repositioned for improved sweet spot and precision, we’ve enhanced performance while maintaining our signature look and feel. The stunning Royal Rose PVD finish adds elegance throughout the line, and the Mini Honeycomb face milling ensures a soft, yet responsive feel at impact. This series continues to possess beauty and aesthetic charm and delivers the performance that every golfer deserves.”
As you can see from the photos, the new Royal Rose PVD finish looks great and should reduce glare with its matte finish. You can actually feel that the finish is a little different as it has a slightly grippy feel to it. While the putters look great in the photos, the light shows off the depth and color in person.

Bob Bettinardi talked about the Queen B putters having an enhanced center of gravity and that means they have aligned the CG with the natural alignment of the putter. So the sweet spot is right in the dead center, where most golfers are trying to make contact.
When you look at the face of the putters in this line, you can see the iconic Bettinardi Honeycomb pattern. But this isn’t traditional, it is the Mini Honeycomb milling that uses an 8-percent smaller tool to produce the famous look and gives the golfer a softer feel while maintaining a high level of responsiveness. Each head is milled from a solid block of 303 stainless steel and Bettinardi has raised the weight up slightly to 362 grams.

Neal Shipley, AKA, the “Big Fridge’s,” custom stamping
Neal Shipley was the first to admit that he enjoyed his food while in college. But since his days at Ohio State, he’s slimmed down and earned a PGA Tour Card.
That hasn’t stopped him from having fun with his wedge stampings, though it’s led to some misunderstandings.
On the 54 (degree), we have ‘Big Fudge,'” Shipley told GolfWRX. “It was supposed to be ‘Big Fridge,’ so this happened a little while ago. ‘Big Fridge’ was a nickname between my college teammates and I, with ‘fridge’ meaning stomach, a big stomach.

“We told the Ping guys to put … ‘Big Fridge’ on it, and I think maybe some bad cell service or something, and they thought I said ‘fudge,’ so they put fudge on it.”
On Shipley’s 50-degree he also continues the food theme, this time with his go-to order at the “Golden Arches,” and his stamping “DONS 7.”
“The number 7 meal, the two cheeseburger meal, that was my McDonald’s order, back when I would have McDonald’s frequently,” Shipley shared.
