SeeMore launches limited Payne Stewart 25-year anniversary commemorative putter
Twenty-five years ago, at famed Pinehurst #2, Payne Stewart made the longest putt ever to win the U.S. Open on the final hole of regulation, defeating Phil Mickelson.
This year also marks the twenty-fifth anniversary of the SeeMore Putter Company, and the launch of the Original Bronze FGP, featuring SeeMore’s patented RifleScopeTechnology alignment system. During Payne’s final round putting performance, using a SeeMore original FGP putter, Stewart needed only 24 putts.

In the early 2000s, the company planned to make a limited run of numbered commemorative putters as a tribute to the golfer whose life was tragically cut short in a plane crash on October 25, 1999.
SeeMore ultimately produced fewer than 1,000 of the putters and elected to sell only a limited number at the time. Some of the remaining vintage putters have been donated to charity over the last 25 years, raising funds for these meaningful causes as parts of silent auctions. The final 300 vintage putters have been stored in the SeeMore vault…until now.

As part of this anniversary celebration of Payne, SeeMore will now make the final 300 of these vintage, original commemorative putters available for purchase.
The putters will be built to 35 inches with a black tour classic grip to most closely match the specifications of Payne Stewart’s exact gamer. The putter will also include a classic black SeeMore headcover.

Those purchasing the Payne Stewart 1999 U.S. Open Champion engraved putter will also receive an engraved black and bronze scorecard.
The price for this once-in-a-lifetime limited production offer is $400 at SeeMore.com. The putters are available now and they will sell on a first-serve basis. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Payne Stewart Family Foundation.

Neal Shipley, AKA, the “Big Fridge’s,” custom stamping
Neal Shipley was the first to admit that he enjoyed his food while in college. But since his days at Ohio State, he’s slimmed down and earned a PGA Tour Card.
That hasn’t stopped him from having fun with his wedge stampings, though it’s led to some misunderstandings.
On the 54 (degree), we have ‘Big Fudge,'” Shipley told GolfWRX. “It was supposed to be ‘Big Fridge,’ so this happened a little while ago. ‘Big Fridge’ was a nickname between my college teammates and I, with ‘fridge’ meaning stomach, a big stomach.

“We told the Ping guys to put … ‘Big Fridge’ on it, and I think maybe some bad cell service or something, and they thought I said ‘fudge,’ so they put fudge on it.”
On Shipley’s 50-degree he also continues the food theme, this time with his go-to order at the “Golden Arches,” and his stamping “DONS 7.”
“The number 7 meal, the two cheeseburger meal, that was my McDonald’s order, back when I would have McDonald’s frequently,” Shipley shared.
