Cobra Golf launches new 3D-printed putter collection
Cobra Golf has today unveiled its new 3D-printed putter collection.
The new putter collection introduces a range of models that boast a lightweight, 3D-printed cartridge, crafted with HP Multi Jet Fusion Technology. This cartridge not only allows for optimal weight and mass property redistribution but is also designed to contribute to an enhanced sound and feel.

Agera RS
In collaboration with LA Golf, Cobra integrates a milled 6061 aerospace-grade aluminum face insert featuring the patented LA Golf Descending Loft Technology. This unique technology provides players with four planes of loft, descending from the top to the bottom of the face (4, 3, 2, 1) in one-degree increments. This unique design aims to ensure an optimal launch on every stroke, while producing unparalleled end-over-end roll performance.
The technological advancements in the 3D printed lineup extend into a multi-material construction featuring a carbon fiber crown, a 3D-printed lattice cartridge, a milled 6061 aerospace-grade aluminum face insert, and metal injection molded (MIM) body made from 304 stainless steel.

Agera RS 30
The exceptionally high MOI design seeks to reduce face twisting while improving stability on off-center hits. Additionally, the 3D-printed line introduces adjustable sole weighting, offering players the flexibility to customize their putter’s head weight and feel with five different weights (5g, 10g, 15g, 20g, 25g) that can be changed effortlessly.
“Cobra was the first company in golf to utilize 3D printing in golf club and putter design. Our new 3D Printed family is the most advanced yet and sets the standard for putter technology and performance.” – Jose Miraflor, VP Marketing & Product Architecture at Cobra Golf

Neal Shipley, AKA, the “Big Fridge’s,” custom stamping
Neal Shipley was the first to admit that he enjoyed his food while in college. But since his days at Ohio State, he’s slimmed down and earned a PGA Tour Card.
That hasn’t stopped him from having fun with his wedge stampings, though it’s led to some misunderstandings.
On the 54 (degree), we have ‘Big Fudge,'” Shipley told GolfWRX. “It was supposed to be ‘Big Fridge,’ so this happened a little while ago. ‘Big Fridge’ was a nickname between my college teammates and I, with ‘fridge’ meaning stomach, a big stomach.

“We told the Ping guys to put … ‘Big Fridge’ on it, and I think maybe some bad cell service or something, and they thought I said ‘fudge,’ so they put fudge on it.”
On Shipley’s 50-degree he also continues the food theme, this time with his go-to order at the “Golden Arches,” and his stamping “DONS 7.”
“The number 7 meal, the two cheeseburger meal, that was my McDonald’s order, back when I would have McDonald’s frequently,” Shipley shared.
