Titleist T200 irons
2nd Swing says: Titleist engineers went to work optimizing the sound and feel of the latest T200 model, and it proved successful. Additionally, both in testing and in 2nd Swing Tour Van fittings, the T200 irons have been among the most consistent players distance irons available. Plus, the T200 has been a popular long iron for better players.

Callaway Apex UW ’24
2nd Swing says: The new Callaway Apex Utility Wood (UW), part of the 2024 Apex Pro series, is a rocket launcher. In testing, it has delivered ball speeds and distances comparable to a fairway wood despite the having the shape and aesthetic of a hybrid.
Ping i230 irons
2nd Swing says: Ping took their time replacing the i210, but the new i230 irons have turned out to be the winning formula. The i230s offer a slightly slimmer profile and more consistency than their predecessor.
Ping iCrossover
2nd Swing says: The iCrossover has been a favorite among better players in 2nd Swing fittings thanks to the stealthy black PVD finish and a compact shape that delivers high ball speeds and superb control.
Neal Shipley was the first to admit that he enjoyed his food while in college. But since his days at Ohio State, he’s slimmed down and earned a PGA Tour Card.
That hasn’t stopped him from having fun with his wedge stampings, though it’s led to some misunderstandings.
On the 54 (degree), we have ‘Big Fudge,'” Shipley told GolfWRX. “It was supposed to be ‘Big Fridge,’ so this happened a little while ago. ‘Big Fridge’ was a nickname between my college teammates and I, with ‘fridge’ meaning stomach, a big stomach.
“We told the Ping guys to put … ‘Big Fridge’ on it, and I think maybe some bad cell service or something, and they thought I said ‘fudge,’ so they put fudge on it.”
On Shipley’s 50-degree he also continues the food theme, this time with his go-to order at the “Golden Arches,” and his stamping “DONS 7.”
“The number 7 meal, the two cheeseburger meal, that was my McDonald’s order, back when I would have McDonald’s frequently,” Shipley shared.
