Callaway Rogue ST Max hybrids: Plenty of models, plenty of tech
Callaway has just released its new 2022 Rogue ST Max hybrids.
Before breaking down the four members of the family, here’s a look at the technology they all share.

Speed & stability from Jailbreak ST: The new A.I.-designed Jailbreak system has been redesigned and will create increased speed and more stability. The two Jailbreak frames are pushed to the perimeter, providing stiffness. This will allow for higher ball speeds, according to the company.
A.I. Face optimized for speed, launch, and spin: From Callaway’s high strength 455 Face Cup, there is new A.I. face optimization that is set to improve speed, launch, and spin. The face pattern is customized for each model and loft.
Precision tungsten weighting: The hybrids incorporate as much as 24 grams of precision tungsten that allows for precise center of gravity (CG) locations. This creates optimal launch while maintaining the desired speed, according to engineers.
2022 Callaway Rogue ST Hybrids: The models
Rogue ST Max: The Rogue ST Max is for the golfer looking for game improvement. It is the longest Rogue ST hybrid model that includes stronger loft to provide all-around hybrid performance.

Rogue ST Max OS: The Rogue ST Max OS features a larger clubhead with an easier launch and a draw bias. This model features the widest loft and is available from a 3 hybrid to an 8 hybrid.

Rogue ST Max OS Lite: The Rogue Max OS Lite is the easiest to swing and lightest weight option, which will increase swing speed. It can include up to 15 grams of tungsten, and also features the widest loft offering extending from a 3 hybrid to an 8 hybrid.

Rogue ST Pro: The Rogue ST Pro is most definitely geared to the low handicapper. It features a fairway wood/compact shaping, shallow face, and neutral CG for the most workability in the Rogue ST line.

The new Callaway Rogue hybrids will release for retail on February 18th and sell for $279.99 each.

Neal Shipley, AKA, the “Big Fridge’s,” custom stamping
Neal Shipley was the first to admit that he enjoyed his food while in college. But since his days at Ohio State, he’s slimmed down and earned a PGA Tour Card.
That hasn’t stopped him from having fun with his wedge stampings, though it’s led to some misunderstandings.
On the 54 (degree), we have ‘Big Fudge,'” Shipley told GolfWRX. “It was supposed to be ‘Big Fridge,’ so this happened a little while ago. ‘Big Fridge’ was a nickname between my college teammates and I, with ‘fridge’ meaning stomach, a big stomach.

“We told the Ping guys to put … ‘Big Fridge’ on it, and I think maybe some bad cell service or something, and they thought I said ‘fudge,’ so they put fudge on it.”
On Shipley’s 50-degree he also continues the food theme, this time with his go-to order at the “Golden Arches,” and his stamping “DONS 7.”
“The number 7 meal, the two cheeseburger meal, that was my McDonald’s order, back when I would have McDonald’s frequently,” Shipley shared.
