I gotta say, I am truly disappointed with the showing. I can’t believe that this was it. Did the smaller companies not get the space? Did they get squeezed out by those bigger manufacturers? Probably.

I love the look of the Skechers golf shoes. They look really comfortable and lightweight.

Be interested to read some reviews of them and their performance on the golf course.

Could you guys take some pictures of all the other club head manufacturers? Where is Hireko: Acer and etc. Along with all the other accepted alternatives to the big box brands?

So what’s your take on the new wood putters hitting the market in February? They have either a 3 wood or hybrid head. They felt good in my hands, and my junior golfers thought the same thing. However, they’re not ready to give up their Ghost putters.

THAT’s it? Where’s all the rest of it? What happened to all the smaller club & component companies? And it looks like somebody has the case of ADHD! LOL. Who took these photos? Somebody doesn’t know how to PLAN, BEFORE they start taking photos! What about a whole separate category for the people, players, and celebrities?

    Thanks for the photos Zak,

It’s great to see all the latest technology in golfing aids coming out. I really like the look of the ‘putting alley’ and ‘swing perfect’.

    Cheers

Neal Shipley, AKA, the “Big Fridge’s,” custom stamping

Published

on

Neal Shipley was the first to admit that he enjoyed his food while in college. But since his days at Ohio State, he’s slimmed down and earned a PGA Tour Card.

That hasn’t stopped him from having fun with his wedge stampings, though it’s led to some misunderstandings.

On the 54 (degree), we have ‘Big Fudge,'” Shipley told GolfWRX. “It was supposed to be ‘Big Fridge,’ so this happened a little while ago. ‘Big Fridge’ was a nickname between my college teammates and I, with ‘fridge’ meaning stomach, a big stomach.

“We told the Ping guys to put … ‘Big Fridge’ on it, and I think maybe some bad cell service or something, and they thought I said ‘fudge,’ so they put fudge on it.”

On Shipley’s 50-degree he also continues the food theme, this time with his go-to order at the “Golden Arches,” and his stamping “DONS 7.”

“The number 7 meal, the two cheeseburger meal, that was my McDonald’s order, back when I would have McDonald’s frequently,” Shipley shared.

Check out Shipley’s full what’s in the bag and the rest of his wedge stampings here on “Inside the Ropes” from Colonial.
