Justin Rose spotted with Mizuno MP-20 irons on European Tour
When it comes to unsigned former number one golfers in the world, it appears like Mizuno is the iron of choice.

Just a few weeks ago, it was confirmed that Jason Day had transitioned into a mixed set of JPX921 Tours with MP-20 HMB long irons.
This week, on the European Tour Justin Rose, has moved into a set of MP-20 blades after using TaylorMade P7MB irons in Dubai last week (See Rose’s 2020 WITB here).
We don’t have full confirmation on the specs, but based on Justin’s previous irons, it is likely he is continuing to use the ProjectX 6.5 in the new clubs as he did with his previous blades.
We will continue to follow this and other equipment free agents as they build out their sets for 2021.

Neal Shipley, AKA, the “Big Fridge’s,” custom stamping
Neal Shipley was the first to admit that he enjoyed his food while in college. But since his days at Ohio State, he’s slimmed down and earned a PGA Tour Card.
That hasn’t stopped him from having fun with his wedge stampings, though it’s led to some misunderstandings.
On the 54 (degree), we have ‘Big Fudge,'” Shipley told GolfWRX. “It was supposed to be ‘Big Fridge,’ so this happened a little while ago. ‘Big Fridge’ was a nickname between my college teammates and I, with ‘fridge’ meaning stomach, a big stomach.

“We told the Ping guys to put … ‘Big Fridge’ on it, and I think maybe some bad cell service or something, and they thought I said ‘fudge,’ so they put fudge on it.”
On Shipley’s 50-degree he also continues the food theme, this time with his go-to order at the “Golden Arches,” and his stamping “DONS 7.”
“The number 7 meal, the two cheeseburger meal, that was my McDonald’s order, back when I would have McDonald’s frequently,” Shipley shared.

Hope for him he will finally find something that works, but if was only a matter of TM stuff, should be very simple to roll back even not being a staffer.
I guess he has also lost some confidence, needs a good result because the game is there.
Anyway Rose could be the new Luke Donald for Mizuno, elegance and low profile champion.

Mizuno makes the best iron. This is fact and not my opinion.
