Project X teases new “Even Flow” shafts
What’s the hottest new shaft on the PGA Tour? There are a handful of answers, but one of them is surely Project X’s new HZRDUS T1100; an extremely low-launching, low-spinning shaft that hit retailers in February. With the buzz around the T1100 still red hot, Project X is teasing another new shaft called “Even Flow” that looks to appeal to a different category of golfers.
The next wave in Project X is here. Introducing EvenFlow—designed for energy to flow faster through the shaft for max speed at impact. pic.twitter.com/2Q8nABWSpE

According to Project X, the Even Flow has a design that encourages energy to “flow faster” through the shaft for “max speed” at impact. That’s a little different than the design of the T1100, which has an extremely stiff profile that helps golfers reduce launch angle and spin rate.
Based on the photo, there appears to be two different models of the Even Flow: a blue and a black. We’ll keep you updated on the details.

Neal Shipley, AKA, the “Big Fridge’s,” custom stamping
Neal Shipley was the first to admit that he enjoyed his food while in college. But since his days at Ohio State, he’s slimmed down and earned a PGA Tour Card.
That hasn’t stopped him from having fun with his wedge stampings, though it’s led to some misunderstandings.
On the 54 (degree), we have ‘Big Fudge,'” Shipley told GolfWRX. “It was supposed to be ‘Big Fridge,’ so this happened a little while ago. ‘Big Fridge’ was a nickname between my college teammates and I, with ‘fridge’ meaning stomach, a big stomach.

“We told the Ping guys to put … ‘Big Fridge’ on it, and I think maybe some bad cell service or something, and they thought I said ‘fudge,’ so they put fudge on it.”
On Shipley’s 50-degree he also continues the food theme, this time with his go-to order at the “Golden Arches,” and his stamping “DONS 7.”
“The number 7 meal, the two cheeseburger meal, that was my McDonald’s order, back when I would have McDonald’s frequently,” Shipley shared.

This is PX’s version of the Tour Atmos shafts. Being a PFC and a Fuji Charter dealer, I have access to both – and though the sell sheets have not come out for the Evenflow yet, the profiles are very similar – trying to appeal to the same market. I think the onlything the PX Evenflow would have going for it is if it came in a flex less than stiff. HZRDUS only comes in stiff to X, as well as the Atmos Tour Spec. A quality shaft in R flex, with great properties is hard to come by.
