Are Jordan Spieth’s Under Armour shoes coming soon?
Under Armour currently has the following teaser pictured on its golf website.
Could those be what we think they are? The “white Jordan Spieths” — as they’ve come to be called in high-class, golf-fashion circles (that’s what I call them, at least) — are some of the most anticipated golf shoes in recent memory.
During Spieth’s historic 2015, he was donning all-white Under Armour prototypes that had golf’s version of sneakerheads going crazy. Now, it appears a few different models of the shoes will be available for release on April 4.
Of course, we don’t know for sure, but what looked to be a retail version of the “Spieths” were on display at the PGA Merchandise Show. So if you’re in the market for a new pair of white Under Armour golf shoes, April 4 may have something in stores for you.

Neal Shipley, AKA, the “Big Fridge’s,” custom stamping
Neal Shipley was the first to admit that he enjoyed his food while in college. But since his days at Ohio State, he’s slimmed down and earned a PGA Tour Card.
That hasn’t stopped him from having fun with his wedge stampings, though it’s led to some misunderstandings.
On the 54 (degree), we have ‘Big Fudge,'” Shipley told GolfWRX. “It was supposed to be ‘Big Fridge,’ so this happened a little while ago. ‘Big Fridge’ was a nickname between my college teammates and I, with ‘fridge’ meaning stomach, a big stomach.

“We told the Ping guys to put … ‘Big Fridge’ on it, and I think maybe some bad cell service or something, and they thought I said ‘fudge,’ so they put fudge on it.”
On Shipley’s 50-degree he also continues the food theme, this time with his go-to order at the “Golden Arches,” and his stamping “DONS 7.”
“The number 7 meal, the two cheeseburger meal, that was my McDonald’s order, back when I would have McDonald’s frequently,” Shipley shared.

I had a pair of the UA Drive golf shoes from 2015. They were very comfortable shoes and loved them. The last few rounds I played in them in December of 2015, I began to notice my feet were more and more wet each time. The last round my feet were soaked when I was done. I sent them back recently for a full refund and am looking forward to the new release on April.

While those are a perfectly fine looking pair of golf shoes, I do not real see anything special about them that would make me think I had to have a pair.
