Either the bag info here is wrong or it’s wrong on the golf channel app. I’m finding this to be almost every single witb posting. Rather annoying, reminds me of a nightmare on elm street!

Im certainly a Titleist fan…however I would say that Titleist WITB are the most boring out of all the manufacturers. I can usually guess exactly what the guy will have. I think that is mostly because Titleist does not come out with 10 new models of clubs per year:)

I love guys who are Bridgestone or Srixon. Those are usually some crazy bags.

I miss the old days of WITB from Golf Digest in the 90’s, lead tape all over everything, holes drilled in wedges, 10 year old fairway woods, etc…

you are so right about the 90’s. i have no idea
how any of the new stuff works, or where to begin ..
there are so many shafts a fella’ really needs to buy a shaft extractor ..
i have yet to feel comfortable with a 460cc head ..

Right??? It seems like every week now. Just switched to the new Speeder 757 and love it… but may have to at least try the Rogue.

Where’s the attention to detail here? The 60deg SM5 is clearly marked 59deg. Wonder what the 56 actually is?

You are to stupid to insult, that’s because its bent to 60 degrees

Take that garbage to Facebook. How about this… 1) *too, and 2) it was a 60* wedge bent to 59*.

yeah, nice finish getting it done. Fairly classical bag. Just wondering about the gap between the PW and SW unless his PW has a strange loft.

i was pulling for him, and he earned it with that shot on the lip of the bunker.

interesting, another pro playing the nippon ns shafts. Seems like a bunch of guys are swapping to them lately.

I don’t think there’s a nicer guy in golf so it’ll be interesting what kind of vile hate this comment section could drum up.

      Wanna hater’s comment? He’s bald…

      That’s all I could find.

Neal Shipley, AKA, the “Big Fridge’s,” custom stamping

Published

on

Neal Shipley was the first to admit that he enjoyed his food while in college. But since his days at Ohio State, he’s slimmed down and earned a PGA Tour Card.

That hasn’t stopped him from having fun with his wedge stampings, though it’s led to some misunderstandings.

On the 54 (degree), we have ‘Big Fudge,'” Shipley told GolfWRX. “It was supposed to be ‘Big Fridge,’ so this happened a little while ago. ‘Big Fridge’ was a nickname between my college teammates and I, with ‘fridge’ meaning stomach, a big stomach.

“We told the Ping guys to put … ‘Big Fridge’ on it, and I think maybe some bad cell service or something, and they thought I said ‘fudge,’ so they put fudge on it.”

On Shipley’s 50-degree he also continues the food theme, this time with his go-to order at the “Golden Arches,” and his stamping “DONS 7.”

“The number 7 meal, the two cheeseburger meal, that was my McDonald’s order, back when I would have McDonald’s frequently,” Shipley shared.

Check out Shipley’s full what’s in the bag and the rest of his wedge stampings here on “Inside the Ropes” from Colonial.
