Giddyup, Cameron! See Scotty’s new putter covers from the PGA Championship
And down the stretch they come! It looks like “Glory’s Last Shot” with jockey Scotty Cameron at the reigns wins at the wire by a putter length!
This year’s PGA Championship is being held at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, KY., an area known for one of the world’s most famous thoroughbred races; the Kentucky Derby at Churchhill Downs. In less-than-subtle fashion, Scotty Cameron’s special edition PGA Championship putter covers commemorate the horse racing culture of Kentucky.
The covers come in three different models and sizes. Click here to see what GolfWRX members are saying about Cameron’s PGA Championship putter covers in the forums.

Neal Shipley, AKA, the “Big Fridge’s,” custom stamping
Neal Shipley was the first to admit that he enjoyed his food while in college. But since his days at Ohio State, he’s slimmed down and earned a PGA Tour Card.
That hasn’t stopped him from having fun with his wedge stampings, though it’s led to some misunderstandings.
On the 54 (degree), we have ‘Big Fudge,'” Shipley told GolfWRX. “It was supposed to be ‘Big Fridge,’ so this happened a little while ago. ‘Big Fridge’ was a nickname between my college teammates and I, with ‘fridge’ meaning stomach, a big stomach.

“We told the Ping guys to put … ‘Big Fridge’ on it, and I think maybe some bad cell service or something, and they thought I said ‘fudge,’ so they put fudge on it.”
On Shipley’s 50-degree he also continues the food theme, this time with his go-to order at the “Golden Arches,” and his stamping “DONS 7.”
“The number 7 meal, the two cheeseburger meal, that was my McDonald’s order, back when I would have McDonald’s frequently,” Shipley shared.

It will be a cold day in hell before I would pay over 300 for a putter, especially Cameron’s which have very little help for the average putter but are just expensive. They are not made any better and do not putt any better, they just cost more. Much of golf is not how you play but what you play with and how you look. I told a guy one day he would save 4 strokes a round putting with a high MOI mallet putter but he had to put with the Cameron Anser copy of which there are 12 of. He pulled a lot of putts but I guess he looked good putting badly.

Nice outlook. It’s not enough for you to not like them, other people are not allowed to like them either. Can you post pictures of the dune buggy you drive to work everyday since it has 4 tires and a wheel to steer. I know someone as fiscally smart as you would never be caught paying money for a car when you can gokart everywhere…. sheesh what a jerk.
