The Memorial: Photo Recap
Tiger Woods, who has won the Memorial five times (1999, 2000, 2001, 2009, 2012), shocked golf fans by shooting a 44 on the back nine in Round 3. He finished 8-over, 20 shots off the lead in a tie for 65th place.
Woods struggled with his putter — usually the strong point of his game — but finished tied for fifth in driving accuracy and 17th in driving distance with his Nike VR Driver (9.5 Degrees) with a Mitsubishi Rayon Diamana White Board 73X shaft that he switched to at The Players Championship.
GolfWRX is on site this week at the Memorial Tournament, with both Alistair Cameron and Tour Photographer Greg Moore on the ground in Dublin, Ohio, where a strong field is assembled to pay homage to the Golden Bear.
