Scotty Cameron introduces new Studio Xperimental Limited line
Scotty Cameron has today introduced the 2025 Studio Xperimental Limited line — an exclusive release that gives dedicated golfers the opportunity to game two tour prototype-inspired designs.
The Studio Xperimental Limited Squareback 2 and Fastback 2 models combine Scotty’s renowned craftsmanship with innovative design elements, including black nickel-plated Studio Carbon Steel (SCS) face inserts and unique sight line configurations. The compact mallets also feature a custom Full Contact Slim grip and a custom-engineered graphite shaft to round out the setup.

Studio Xperimental Limited Squareback 2
The Studio Xperimental Limited Squareback 2 offers a mid-mallet setup that delivers a squarer, more angular look at address for players who like to set up to sharper lines.
The model features an I-beam plumbing neck for moderate toe flow, and its higher-MOI, multi-material construction is designed to give players exceptional stability through the stroke.
Studio Xperimental Limited Fastback 2
Also available as a left-handed model, the Studio Xperimental Limited Fastback 2 debuts the combination of Scotty’s I-beam plumbing neck with the popular ring-weighted, rounded mid-mallet shape of the Studio Style Fastback.
Like the Squareback 2 model, the Studio Xperimental Limited Fastback 2 features enhanced two-tone alignment and higher MOI properties.
Neal Shipley was the first to admit that he enjoyed his food while in college. But since his days at Ohio State, he’s slimmed down and earned a PGA Tour Card.
That hasn’t stopped him from having fun with his wedge stampings, though it’s led to some misunderstandings.
On the 54 (degree), we have ‘Big Fudge,'” Shipley told GolfWRX. “It was supposed to be ‘Big Fridge,’ so this happened a little while ago. ‘Big Fridge’ was a nickname between my college teammates and I, with ‘fridge’ meaning stomach, a big stomach.
“We told the Ping guys to put … ‘Big Fridge’ on it, and I think maybe some bad cell service or something, and they thought I said ‘fudge,’ so they put fudge on it.”
On Shipley’s 50-degree he also continues the food theme, this time with his go-to order at the “Golden Arches,” and his stamping “DONS 7.”
“The number 7 meal, the two cheeseburger meal, that was my McDonald’s order, back when I would have McDonald’s frequently,” Shipley shared.
