The Time Machine couldn’t go back very far this week as the Zurich Classic of New Orleans has only existed in its current (team) incarnation since 2017! Nevertheless, we’re heading to the 2022 Zurich Classic of New Orleans, which showcased a dominant performance by Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele, who secured a wire-to-wire victory at TPC Louisiana. The pair opened the tournament with a record-setting 13-under 59 in the best-ball format, marking the lowest four-ball score in the event’s history. The duo maintained their lead throughout the competition, finishing at 29-under par.
