SQAIRZ launches its first wide-fit golf shoes
Responding to consumer demand since the launch of previous models, SQAIRZ today unveiled a new line of wide-fit golf shoes. The company continues to expand its product range, aiming to make its performance technology accessible to a broader audience.
Known for its innovative design, SQAIRZ shoes feature a signature square toe box that provides more room in the forefoot, allowing toes to spread naturally. This design not only enhances comfort but also boosts stability, a key factor in improving a golfer’s performance. With the introduction of wide sizing, built to fit up to an EE width, SQAIRZ can now meet the needs of golfers who require extra space across the foot and toe box.

“Over the years, we’ve heard from countless golfers who love the performance benefits of SQAIRZ but needed a wider fit,” said Robert Winskowicz, Founder and CEO of SQAIRZ. “We’ve taken their feedback and spent several months perfecting this expansion, ensuring that the wide shoes provide the same level of stability, balance, and comfort that our brand is known for.”
This development aligns with SQAIRZ’s recent growth, including its expansion into baseball and securing a major capital investment. By offering wide-fit shoes, the company aims to reinforce its position as a go-to brand for athletes seeking both comfort and performance.

Golfers can purchase the new wide men’s sizes starting today in select models exclusively on sqairz.com.

Neal Shipley, AKA, the “Big Fridge’s,” custom stamping
Neal Shipley was the first to admit that he enjoyed his food while in college. But since his days at Ohio State, he’s slimmed down and earned a PGA Tour Card.
That hasn’t stopped him from having fun with his wedge stampings, though it’s led to some misunderstandings.
On the 54 (degree), we have ‘Big Fudge,'” Shipley told GolfWRX. “It was supposed to be ‘Big Fridge,’ so this happened a little while ago. ‘Big Fridge’ was a nickname between my college teammates and I, with ‘fridge’ meaning stomach, a big stomach.

“We told the Ping guys to put … ‘Big Fridge’ on it, and I think maybe some bad cell service or something, and they thought I said ‘fudge,’ so they put fudge on it.”
On Shipley’s 50-degree he also continues the food theme, this time with his go-to order at the “Golden Arches,” and his stamping “DONS 7.”
“The number 7 meal, the two cheeseburger meal, that was my McDonald’s order, back when I would have McDonald’s frequently,” Shipley shared.

I switched to Sqairz a few years ago because they offered weight and stability, more so than my adidas 360s, which I’d worn for many years. But the new versions are lighter…exactly what I DON’T want. I like a heavy, stable shoe. If they move away from that when it’s time to switch out my shoes…back to adidas.
