Amazon Prime Day golf deals: GolfWRX staff’s picks

Published

on

In the market for some Amazon Prime Day golf deals? Of course you are! And fortunately, for those with Amazon Prime memberships, Prime Day 2025 is actually a two-day event beginning today, July 16 (if you’re not a Prime member, more on that here).

GolfWRX staffers were tasked with browsing the golf-related wares for sale on the world’s largest online retailer for the best stuff.

Of course, for your equipment needs, we recommend you head on over to our partner 2nd Swing Golf. 2nd Swing has more than 100,000 new and pre-swung golf clubs available in six store locations and online. However, when it comes to accessories, apparel, and all the rest, we’ve got you covered below.

The Phone Caddy straps to the cart roof support and stays where put no matter how rough the rough gets.

BK has been using a net at night to work on some swing mechanics and not only has it helped his swing, it is a nice way to wind down the day. This GoSports net is 10ft wide and 7ft tall so it should contain your bad shots and not let them fly 2 streets over. It is also easy to set up, take down, and store in a compact bag.

Neal Shipley, AKA, the “Big Fridge’s,” custom stamping

Published

on

Neal Shipley was the first to admit that he enjoyed his food while in college. But since his days at Ohio State, he’s slimmed down and earned a PGA Tour Card.

That hasn’t stopped him from having fun with his wedge stampings, though it’s led to some misunderstandings.

On the 54 (degree), we have ‘Big Fudge,'” Shipley told GolfWRX. “It was supposed to be ‘Big Fridge,’ so this happened a little while ago. ‘Big Fridge’ was a nickname between my college teammates and I, with ‘fridge’ meaning stomach, a big stomach.

“We told the Ping guys to put … ‘Big Fridge’ on it, and I think maybe some bad cell service or something, and they thought I said ‘fudge,’ so they put fudge on it.”

On Shipley’s 50-degree he also continues the food theme, this time with his go-to order at the “Golden Arches,” and his stamping “DONS 7.”

“The number 7 meal, the two cheeseburger meal, that was my McDonald’s order, back when I would have McDonald’s frequently,” Shipley shared.

Check out Shipley’s full what’s in the bag and the rest of his wedge stampings here on “Inside the Ropes” from Colonial.
