Currently, in our GolfWRX buy/sell/trade (BST) forum, there is a listing for a set of limited-edition black Titleist T200 irons
From the seller (@dviviano): “Just picked up this set as a potential project, but realized I don’t have the time to tinker to get them to work for me. These are the new limited edition T200s with a blackout finish. Shafts are AMT Black – black onyx S300s, with practically new red Golf Pride Tour Wrap grips, logo up. Per the prior owner, they are standard L/L/L, but to my eye they could be a touch upright. I took pictures in a light that would most exaggerate the wear on the faces (probably over-exaggerated) but I wanted to reflect the couple of irons with toe marks that likely came from a sandy range ball. The 5 and 6 are the cleanest, with the 6 looking like it never hit a ball. The 7-PW all have marks across the face. That said, grooves are virtually brand new, and the soles of all but the 8 iron show no wear at all. I can provide additional photos if requested. Not interested in any trades at this time, but always feel free to PM and the worst I can say is no thanks. Asking $1300 $1225. Price includes shipping to lower 48 with PayPal G&S. Neal Shipley was the first to admit that he enjoyed his food while in college. But since his days at Ohio State, he’s slimmed down and earned a PGA Tour Card.
That hasn’t stopped him from having fun with his wedge stampings, though it’s led to some misunderstandings.
On the 54 (degree), we have ‘Big Fudge,'” Shipley told GolfWRX. “It was supposed to be ‘Big Fridge,’ so this happened a little while ago. ‘Big Fridge’ was a nickname between my college teammates and I, with ‘fridge’ meaning stomach, a big stomach.
“We told the Ping guys to put … ‘Big Fridge’ on it, and I think maybe some bad cell service or something, and they thought I said ‘fudge,’ so they put fudge on it.”
On Shipley’s 50-degree he also continues the food theme, this time with his go-to order at the “Golden Arches,” and his stamping “DONS 7.”
“The number 7 meal, the two cheeseburger meal, that was my McDonald’s order, back when I would have McDonald’s frequently,” Shipley shared.
