Spotted: Bettinardi BB41 Flow 25th anniversary putter
Bettinardi is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year by releasing a line of limited edition putters. At the 2023 WGC-Dell Matchplay, we got in-hand photos of one of the next putters, a BB41 Flow.
The BB41 is a classic head shape that Bettinardi has done throughout the years but usually with an L-neck. This special BB41 has a face insert that looks to be made of copper bolted to the head. The hex bolts can be seen in the back cavity with the 25th anniversary hexagon in between them. The overall shape is very squared off with sharper bumpers and a very tapered heel.
The putter features a single site line on the flange and a short flow neck with what might be full shaft offset. These special Bettinardi putters are limited to 250 pieces, as stated on the sole. The putter is finished off with a perforated leather grip and special 25th anniversary headcover.

Neal Shipley was the first to admit that he enjoyed his food while in college. But since his days at Ohio State, he’s slimmed down and earned a PGA Tour Card.
That hasn’t stopped him from having fun with his wedge stampings, though it’s led to some misunderstandings.
On the 54 (degree), we have ‘Big Fudge,'” Shipley told GolfWRX. “It was supposed to be ‘Big Fridge,’ so this happened a little while ago. ‘Big Fridge’ was a nickname between my college teammates and I, with ‘fridge’ meaning stomach, a big stomach.
“We told the Ping guys to put … ‘Big Fridge’ on it, and I think maybe some bad cell service or something, and they thought I said ‘fudge,’ so they put fudge on it.”
On Shipley’s 50-degree he also continues the food theme, this time with his go-to order at the “Golden Arches,” and his stamping “DONS 7.”
“The number 7 meal, the two cheeseburger meal, that was my McDonald’s order, back when I would have McDonald’s frequently,” Shipley shared.

I like the sharper edges on a Anser style putter, helps alignment. My favorite design would be a Scotty Cameron in Damascus steel ping pale 2 with a plumbers neck, with tungsten weights on the outer edges.
