Very rare unicorns: New unused Nike VR Pros! – GolfWRXers react
In our forums, our members have been discussing an incredible find by one of our members. WRXer ‘fiberman’ has recently managed to get his hands on a set of Nike VR Pro Blades 3-PW with S300 shafts and has been showcasing the clubs in our forum. ‘Fiberman’ says:
“Just found and purchased these Nike VR Pro Blades 3-PW with S300 shafts and it appears that they are brand new never used, price sticker still on iron shaft. Very rare and a welcome surprise to find these as I am assuming there are few if any left in new condition.
One of the best blades ever made in my humble opinion. Now to decide do I game them and replace the Blueprints or sale them? Leaning towards gaming! I know that these were a favorite here so I thought everyone might like to see a new set since they are now so rare!”

Our members have been reacting to the find, with WRXers waxing lyrical over the rare unused Nike blades.
Here are a few posts from the thread, but make sure to check out the entire discussion and have your say at the link below.
- mizuno player: “Wow. That’s a perfect looking club.”
- AJFR: “Game them for sure, great club.”
- FormerBigDaddy: “I would vote to game them as well. You can always refinish them later. Or buy mother set and refinish those. That’s kind of my plan with the p7tw. Play em until it’s time to either buy another set or refinish them. They’ll be my lifelong irons most likely.”

Neal Shipley, AKA, the “Big Fridge’s,” custom stamping
Neal Shipley was the first to admit that he enjoyed his food while in college. But since his days at Ohio State, he’s slimmed down and earned a PGA Tour Card.
That hasn’t stopped him from having fun with his wedge stampings, though it’s led to some misunderstandings.
On the 54 (degree), we have ‘Big Fudge,'” Shipley told GolfWRX. “It was supposed to be ‘Big Fridge,’ so this happened a little while ago. ‘Big Fridge’ was a nickname between my college teammates and I, with ‘fridge’ meaning stomach, a big stomach.

“We told the Ping guys to put … ‘Big Fridge’ on it, and I think maybe some bad cell service or something, and they thought I said ‘fudge,’ so they put fudge on it.”
On Shipley’s 50-degree he also continues the food theme, this time with his go-to order at the “Golden Arches,” and his stamping “DONS 7.”
“The number 7 meal, the two cheeseburger meal, that was my McDonald’s order, back when I would have McDonald’s frequently,” Shipley shared.

If I were you I would try to get a hold of Tommy Fleetwood cause I believe he would offer you a pretty penny for them even though he is now on the Taylormade staff. He was gaming those Nike irons until they stopped making golf clubs and I’m sure he would love to get his hands on them.
