2021 Cobra RadSpeed hybrids
Hybrid clubs are all about consistency, and the new Cobra RadSpeed hybrids for 2021 utilize many of the same design tweaks used in the rest of the RadSpeed line, including the new Radial Weighting to raise MOI and increase launch. The RadSpeed hybrids come in two models that run parallel to the RadSpeed irons with both a variable length and a one-length option to help any golfer build their best set.
2021 Cobra RadSpeed hybrids: The technology

Weight savings mean more mass available to engineers to position around each head. Just as the RadSpeed fairway woods capitalize on discretionary weight to offer more forgiveness and ball speed, the new RadSpeed hybrids have more mass placed forward and towards the extreme heel and toe to create faster ball speeds and better launch conditions. For the variable-length hybrids, this means an average of 48 grams per head, and for the one-length, it means just over 84 grams—since they are played at a shorter length and require more mass to play to the proper spec.
Since hybrids are considered iron replacements, optimization is crucial for golfers of all skill levels looking to score better—whether it be approach shots into longer par 4s, pars 3s, or making recovery shots from deep rough.

A key feature and competitive advantage of the new RadSpeed hybrids is Cobra’s signature Baffler rails. Designers have continued to push manufacturing tolerances, and by once again saving weight and thinning the walls around the leading edge, they have been able to increase the flexion on the leading edge by 70 percent, according to the company.

RadSpeed hybrid model and specs
Variable length

The stock shaft for the variable-length Cobra RadSpeed hybrids is the UST Recoil 480 EXS, and they will be available in right and left-handed except for the 2H, which will only be available in right.
One-Length

The stock shaft for the One-Length Cobra RadSpeed hybrids is also the UST Recoil 480 EXS, with all loft options available in both right and left-handed.
RadSpeed: Women’s options

It’s important to note Cobra offers the ability to custom order any of its hybrid offerings with lighter women’s specific shafts, but from a stock perspective, Cobra is offering an elderberry color option in the 4-7 hybrids with an exclusive UST Recoil EXS women’s flex shaft.

Price and availability
The new 2021 Cobra RadSpeed hybrids (variable and one-length) are priced at $229 each and will be available starting January 29 at retail and online.
The 2021 Cobra RadSpeed hybrids, along with the entire RadSpeed line will continue to employ Cobra Connect powered by Arccos. Every club comes with an embedded electronic sensor in the grip to automatically record the distance and accuracy of every shot so golfers can track their improvements round-to-round.

Neal Shipley, AKA, the “Big Fridge’s,” custom stamping
Neal Shipley was the first to admit that he enjoyed his food while in college. But since his days at Ohio State, he’s slimmed down and earned a PGA Tour Card.
That hasn’t stopped him from having fun with his wedge stampings, though it’s led to some misunderstandings.
On the 54 (degree), we have ‘Big Fudge,'” Shipley told GolfWRX. “It was supposed to be ‘Big Fridge,’ so this happened a little while ago. ‘Big Fridge’ was a nickname between my college teammates and I, with ‘fridge’ meaning stomach, a big stomach.

“We told the Ping guys to put … ‘Big Fridge’ on it, and I think maybe some bad cell service or something, and they thought I said ‘fudge,’ so they put fudge on it.”
On Shipley’s 50-degree he also continues the food theme, this time with his go-to order at the “Golden Arches,” and his stamping “DONS 7.”
“The number 7 meal, the two cheeseburger meal, that was my McDonald’s order, back when I would have McDonald’s frequently,” Shipley shared.
