Shot Scope introduces V3 Smart Golf Watch – the first GPS smart golf watch to feature artificial intelligence
Shot Scope has unveiled its all-new V3 Smart Golf Watch, featuring artificial intelligence which offers golfers real-time on-course performance tracking capabilities.
Through the Power-Sense AI strap technology, the V3 Smart Golf Watch captures data on every shot, which provides golfers instant feedback in design to allow them to understand their swing better and to reach optimal performance.
Per the company, the data becomes more personalized with the more rounds the golfer plays in a bid to provide highly refined settings that are personal to each player.
Backed by proprietary dual GPS antennas (30cm GPS accuracy) the watch contains 35,000 pre-loaded courses worldwide.
Speaking on the new V3 Smart Golf Watch, David Hunter, CEO, Shot Scope stated
“Artificial Intelligence in a smart golf watch is a game-changer as the V3 provides golfers with real-time game tracking data like never before. As a multi-function watch, and backed by V3’s Power-Sense AI strap technology and dual GPS Antennas, golfers have never been afforded such an innovative combination of performance tracking and distance measuring.”
Once players sync the watch through Bluetooth, golfers can avail of the interactive dashboard. The interactive dashboard provides an aerial view of the course for a bird’s-eye view, and enables the watch to capture and analyze over 100 tour-level statistics on club distances and tee shots.
Shot Scope’s PinCollect technology will record putt and pin location, while also capturing and analyzing approaches, short game and putting statistics.
The Shot Scope V3 Smart Golf Watch includes 16 pre-labeled Club ID tags and comes in five watch strap options, including black, blue, red, gray and purple.
The Shot Scope V3 costs $219 and can be purchased at Dicks Sporting Goods, Golf Galaxy, PGA Superstores, TGW.com, golf specialty stores or online at www.shotscope.com.
Neal Shipley was the first to admit that he enjoyed his food while in college. But since his days at Ohio State, he’s slimmed down and earned a PGA Tour Card.
That hasn’t stopped him from having fun with his wedge stampings, though it’s led to some misunderstandings.
On the 54 (degree), we have ‘Big Fudge,'” Shipley told GolfWRX. “It was supposed to be ‘Big Fridge,’ so this happened a little while ago. ‘Big Fridge’ was a nickname between my college teammates and I, with ‘fridge’ meaning stomach, a big stomach.
“We told the Ping guys to put … ‘Big Fridge’ on it, and I think maybe some bad cell service or something, and they thought I said ‘fudge,’ so they put fudge on it.”
On Shipley’s 50-degree he also continues the food theme, this time with his go-to order at the “Golden Arches,” and his stamping “DONS 7.”
“The number 7 meal, the two cheeseburger meal, that was my McDonald’s order, back when I would have McDonald’s frequently,” Shipley shared.
