Cool Clubs unveils club sanitizing box which uses powerful UVC lights
With club cleaning of paramount importance during the Covid-19 pandemic, Cool Clubs founder and CEO, Mark D. Timms, as well as Glen Pangestu (the brand’s interning Engineering student in his senior year from a local collage GCU) have created a club sanitizing cabinet which implements powerful UVC lights.
Used in hospitals, mass transit, cell phones, and multiple other applications that require sanitizing, the cabinet implements UVC light. The lights have the capabilities of being used as a disinfectant due to its shorter wavelength that gives it higher energy – making it efficient at destroying the DNA of many bacterias and viruses.

Made from marine board (a machinable plastic), the cabinet is 25.5in x 17.25in x 53.5in (L x W x H) and is mirrored all around the inside of the box besides the top panel.
The mirrored sheets are mirrored plexiglass, and the cabinet features 2 UVC light bulbs positioned on the top and the bottom of the box. The UVC Light bulbs have 360 degrees disinfection and sterilization power and come with a remote control that allows owners to turn the light bulbs on/off and set a timer for the light bulbs (15min, 30min, and 60min.)

The bulbs use pure aluminum materials heating dissipation which gives longer life, and per the creators, the UVC Light bulb is capable of effectively covering 500 sq./ft.

The club sanitizing box is equipped with four 2″ swivel caster wheels with a rubber base, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated directly to charities that are helping those locally and nationally that have been negatively impacted by Covid-19.
The cabinet is currently in the testing process, with plans to be on sale by the end of June for a price of $1995.00.

Plans are also in the works for a battery-powered grip only cabinet which would cost less than $1000 and would be a portable (3’X1’X1’) unit. Per the company, there are also plans on offering a kit that can be installed in a standard metal cabinet (available in Costco, Home Depot, and on Amazon), which will cost around $500 should there be enough demand.

Neal Shipley, AKA, the “Big Fridge’s,” custom stamping
Neal Shipley was the first to admit that he enjoyed his food while in college. But since his days at Ohio State, he’s slimmed down and earned a PGA Tour Card.
That hasn’t stopped him from having fun with his wedge stampings, though it’s led to some misunderstandings.
On the 54 (degree), we have ‘Big Fudge,'” Shipley told GolfWRX. “It was supposed to be ‘Big Fridge,’ so this happened a little while ago. ‘Big Fridge’ was a nickname between my college teammates and I, with ‘fridge’ meaning stomach, a big stomach.

“We told the Ping guys to put … ‘Big Fridge’ on it, and I think maybe some bad cell service or something, and they thought I said ‘fudge,’ so they put fudge on it.”
On Shipley’s 50-degree he also continues the food theme, this time with his go-to order at the “Golden Arches,” and his stamping “DONS 7.”
“The number 7 meal, the two cheeseburger meal, that was my McDonald’s order, back when I would have McDonald’s frequently,” Shipley shared.
