Today from the Forums: “Finally! I found my anti-left hybrid!”
Today from the Forums we delve into a thread from ‘Mahamilto’ who has landed on an anti-left hybrid after plenty of searching. Per Mahamilto, he took a chance on Callaway’s “Apex with Catalyst HYB80 6.5, 2* flat” and amongst other things he is now hitting dead straight “225-235 missiles”. Along with the club, Mahamilto credits the decision to go two degrees flat for the anti-left discovery, and our members have been having their say.

- eRod v1.0: “Dang it. I loved my Apex, but my miss was a big left, so I got rid of it. Wish I knew you could get it flat when I ordered it last year. I loved the look of it at address, and it hit rockets. Oh well, I’m very happy with the G410 in flat setting. It’s been amazing for me so far.”

- Golf64: “When a customer came in complaining of the ‘hooks’ with a hybrid, the 3 I handed them were the Apex, G410, Titleist. After that, I would recommend a high lofted fairway. 5, 7, 9W are making a come back. After demoing one myself, I am a believer! Reviews are popping up on youtube on this subject.”

Neal Shipley was the first to admit that he enjoyed his food while in college. But since his days at Ohio State, he’s slimmed down and earned a PGA Tour Card.
That hasn’t stopped him from having fun with his wedge stampings, though it’s led to some misunderstandings.
On the 54 (degree), we have ‘Big Fudge,'” Shipley told GolfWRX. “It was supposed to be ‘Big Fridge,’ so this happened a little while ago. ‘Big Fridge’ was a nickname between my college teammates and I, with ‘fridge’ meaning stomach, a big stomach.
“We told the Ping guys to put … ‘Big Fridge’ on it, and I think maybe some bad cell service or something, and they thought I said ‘fudge,’ so they put fudge on it.”
On Shipley’s 50-degree he also continues the food theme, this time with his go-to order at the “Golden Arches,” and his stamping “DONS 7.”
“The number 7 meal, the two cheeseburger meal, that was my McDonald’s order, back when I would have McDonald’s frequently,” Shipley shared.
