Hard to imagine when he was testing the Volvik ball last year that it wasn’t up to his liking. If it really wasn’t performing up to his standards that it was only a matter of chasing the $$$. Maybe it wasn’t the ball itself but those wild pink and green colors that were the problem. Glad to see he is still loyal to Ping and back using his old ball.

The most interesting is his ball change and the Grafalloy Bi-Matrix shaft. His ball change to Titleist ProV1X again from the Volvik ball seems to make a world of difference in his ball striking. That is very telling on how important the ball is fit to your game. Also, the Grafalloy Bi-Matrix shaft is really interesting. Super low torque 2.0. Must feel like a baseball bat.

Glad to see him win and give credit to the folks in his camp. Seems like a real humble guy.

Volvik balls are the best! Shot my career low 61 at TPC Sawgrass with that ball. You 90s shooters have no idea what you’re talking about.

Glad to see him win but I think he wasted a whole year with Volvik. He took the big payout but couldn’t find the winners circle.

Yeah. Volvik did him in. Now he’s back to normal. Good for him! And what a way to rip it all over the course
