It’s that time of year again: the azaleas are in full bloom and Rae’s Creek is waiting for any golf ball that is slightly mishit. This year’s golf tournament will be great, just like all previous years, but there will be two things missing.

The first is Tiger Woods, who recently had to pull out of the tournament because of a back surgery to repair a pinched nerve. The other will be the iconic Eisenhower Tree, which was removed after being badly damaged by winter storms in February.

One person who will be teeing it up come Thursday is Adam Scott, who was the first Australian to win the Masters and slip on the green jacket. Who will win this year’s Masters is anyone’s guess, but the only way you can have a chance of navigating Amen Corner on Sunday to win is to be in the field.
